The test opening will be temporarily filled with a pre mixed stucco patch (normally white or grey). A cost for permanently repairing the test openings with a building permit will be given with our supplemental report. If owner or party of interest does not contract with GT Inspects Inc. for the permanent repair of the test opening, It will become their responsibility. GT Inspects Inc. will then complete a written supplemental report outlining our findings and recommendations and cost quote. A standard notice of work completed/ not completed will also be issued as per structural pest control board rules and regulations

In rare instances of installing the test opening ,cracking, or damage can occur to the stucco exterior. This damage would be repaired at an additional cost. We are not responsible for damage.

Test opening will only be placed at the areas showing signs of moisture intrusion or decay as noted in our original report or at additional areas as requested by the owner or party of interest. GT Inspects Inc. cannot or does not warrant that all the damage will be found behind the stucco unless the entire stucco envelope were to be removed. If there are areas you feel should have additional test opening due to age of the structure, lack of roof eaves, wood or embedded gutters , flashing details, or other professional opinions or concerns, GT Inspects Inc. would at your direction install additional test opening for an additional fee (see pricing above).

It must be understood that a test opening showing no damage behind the stucco only indicates there is no damage at the test opening location only. There could be damage within several inches of the test opening to the sheathing and framing. It also must be understood that a further inspection ( Installation of test openings) as per the structural pest control act SPCB 1990 and 1991 can only be recommended by the pest control company at areas showing signs of moisture intrusion or decay. There is no guarantee or implied that areas showing no outward signs of moisture intrusion or fungus infection do not have damage. There is no warranty that all the damage behind the stucco has been found. All test openings are installed from the ground level only unless otherwise noted.

I hereby authorize GT Inspects Inc. to install test holes in the exterior stucco for the identified property above. I have read all disclaimers of the authorization and I understand the above.
